Sandra Elizabeth-Lynn Gibson, 64, of Hale Center, died Sunday, June 9, 2024, at her home in Hale Center, Texas. No services are scheduled at this time.  Arrangements are under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Sandra was born October 28, 1959, in Houston, Texas, to Ray and Prudy (Hardeman) Gibson.  She moved to Hale Center in 2010 from Uvalde and attended Saint Paul Lutheran Church.  Sandra was a life-long learner and counselor.  She worked at many area middle schools as a science teacher and for the TDCJ as a counselor.  Sandra enjoyed cooking and was an animal lover of all types.

She was prededed in death by her parents, Ray and Prudy Gibson.

Survivors include her son, Blaine Peterson and his wife Ashley of Waverly Hall, Georgia and a sister, Glenda Elsik of Corpus Christi, Texas. She was blessed with one granddaughter, Clara Peterson.
