Scott Jefferies, 48, of Olton, died Thursday, July 24, 2014, in Lubbock. Services will be at 5:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at the First United Methodist Church in Olton with Brother Tom Carter and Brother James Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Scott was born April 3, 1966 in Plainview to John Jefferies and Kay Murray Jefferies. A lifetime Olton resident, Scott graduated from Olton High School in 1985. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Scott was an avid hunter and enjoyed deer hunting and camping out. Whether it was a horse or a motorcycle didn't matter to Scott, he loved to ride. On January 13, 2014, he married Shona DeBusk in Plainview.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernon and Edyth Jefferies and Thomas and Nealy Murray.

Survivors include his father, John Jefferies of Olton, his mother, Kay Jefferies of Olton, his wife, Shona Jefferies of Olton, two step-sons, Zachary Anderson of Moore, OK and Mathew Anderson of Southmaid, TX, one daughter, Amanda Kaylyn Larson of Amarillo, and his brother, Brian Jefferies of Olton. He was blessed with three grandchildren, Bowen, Cloie, and Jennifer.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Monday, July 28, 2014.
