Sharon Ann Digby, 75, of Olton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Monday, February 17, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 21, 2025, at the First Baptist Church, in Olton, with Mr. Daniel Smith and Evangelist Dallas Carrasco, officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 8:00 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton.
Sharon was born November 19, 1949, in Littlefield, Texas, to Wilbur and Viola (Ward) Schreier. A lifetime Olton resident, Sharon graduated from Olton High School in 1968. On January 13, 1967, Sharon married the love of her life, Ronnie Digby. Sharon worked as the ad builder for the Olton Enterprise from 1978 to 1988. She then went to work for Olton State Bank and was a teller until 2025. A member of Main Street Church of Christ, Sharon loved the community of Olton and getting to visit with her customers at the bank. She enjoyed her flower gardens, trips to Ruidoso, and spending time in the mountains. Family time was important to Sharon, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ronnie Digby in 2018.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Ron Digby, Jr. and wife Michelle of League City, her daughter, Sharla Stanford and husband Reydon of Muleshoe, and her brother, Jim Schreier and wife Kay of Levelland. She was blessed with five grandchildren: Joshua Stanford and wife Alyssa, Nathan Stanford and wife Whitney, Taylor Digby, Payton Digby, and Caden Digby and two great-grandchildren: Barrett and Corinne.
The family suggest memorials be made to Main Street Church of Christ PO Box 510 Olton, Texas 79064.
