Sherry L. Smyth, 52, of Midland, died Wednesday, July 22, 2020, in Lubbock.  Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, July 27, 2020, at the First United Methodist Church in Olton and under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.  Viewing will be held from 1:00 to 7:00 PM, Sunday, July 26, 2020, at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton.

Sherry was born April 18, 1968, in Colorado City, Texas, to Purvis and Edna (Massengill) Morris.  On August 1, 2015, she married Sean Smyth in San Antonio.  Sherry moved to Midland in 2012 and was a member of Renew Life Church.  She enjoyed fishing, reading, and writing.  Sherry loved traveling to Colorado and spending time outdoors in the mountains.  Strong in her faith, Sherry stood behind her beliefs and wasn't afraid to let you know what she thought.  Always thinking of others, even in death, Sherry's final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ donation.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and a sister.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Sean Smyth of Midland, her son, Mace Joy of Sonora, and two daughters, Delaney Smyth of Stephenville and Karsyn Smyth of Hamilton.
