Shirley Ann Hyman, 87, of Hale Center, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023, in Plainview.  Shirley was born December 7, 1935, in Claude, Texas.

The daughter of Samuel and Willie (Peoples) Plumblee, Shirley married Robert Hyman on December 31, 1959.  He preceded her in death in 1986.  She moved to Hale Center, in 2004, from Colorado.

Shirley is survived by her son, Ricky Hyman and his wife Janeen of Hale Center and three nephews, Jim Plumblee of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Andrew Jackson of Fort Worth, and Robert Jackson of Farmington, New Mexico.

Private services will be held under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
