Obituary
Sonny Ray Soto, 29, of Olton, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013, in Stanton, Texas. Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Trinity Baptist Church with Brother Arturo DeLaCruz officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Sonny Ray was born March 21, 1984, in Lubbock to Ruben Soto, Sr. and Becky Rendon Soto. He married April Almanza on October 28, 2011, in Plainview. Sonny was a lifetime area resident and member of Trinity Baptist Church in Olton. He was very family oriented, a great father, loving husband, and beautiful son. He enjoyed playing basketball and playing with his children.
Survivors include his father, Ruben Soto, Sr. of Nevada, his mother, Becky Rendon of Amherst, his wife, April Soto of Olton, two sons, Isaiah Soto of Olton and Sonny Ray, Jr. of Littlefield, three daughters, Melanie Almanza of Olton, Mandi Soto of Olton, and Marissa Soto of Littlefield, two brothers, Ruben Soto, Jr. of Amherst and Nicholas Soto of Amherst, and his sister, Olivia Michelle Amendola of Amherst.
