Theona Virginia Ray, 82, of Roanoke passed away June 18, 2008 in Denton. She was born November 2, 1925 in Stamford, TX to Judson and Ella Reber Green. She married Clyde Ray in 1942. He preceded her in death in 1990. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Denton and a member of the First Baptist Church in Olton. She had been a Wal-Mart greeter.

Visitation was Saturday, June 21, 2008 at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Visitation in Olton was Monday, June 23, 2008 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Graveside services followed at 2:00 PM at Olton Cemetery.

Survivors include her son, Tommy Wesley Ray of Fort Worth, a daughter, Linda Carlene Arthur of North Richland Hills, a sister, Nelda Wreay of Wylie, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
