Tommy "Paps" Lively, 81, of Boyd, died Monday, August 28, 2017, in Azle. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 2, 2017, at Olton Cemetery with Rev. Hollis Parson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors of Olton. The family will receive friends at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M., Friday, September 1.

Tommy was born April 24, 1936, in Hico, Texas, to JD and Vivian Lively. On January 15, 1956, Tommy married Peggy Gray in Olton. He farmed in the Earth and Dimmitt areas and was a member of Lee Street Baptist Church in Dimmitt. Tommy moved to Boyd, Texas, four years ago from Spearman.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy, in 2007, a daughter, Teresa Roberts in 2015, his parents, and a brother.

Survivors include his step-mother, Norma Lively of Lubbock, three sons, Terry Lively and his wife Connie of Lubbock, Todd Lively and his wife Melissa of Wildorado, and Ty Lively and his wife Dixie of Gainesville, a son-in-law, Mark Roberts of Boyd and two sisters, Reba Leming of Marble Falls and Betty Gardner of Des Moines, IA. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
