Viola Ruiz Bosquez, 57, of Olton, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Sunday, April 29, 2012 in Lubbock. Rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Olton. Mass of Christian Burial will be 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at St. Peter Catholic Church with Fr. Martin Pena officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Viola was born November 5, 1954 in Lockney, Texas to Pioquinto and Maria Bueno Ruiz. She was a lifetime area resident and faithful member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Viola was a teaching assistant at H.P. Webb Elementary in Olton and loved her little pre-k students. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, and gardening. A CCD teacher for many years, she loved music and was the family photographer. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and a daughter, Maria Bosquez in 1977.

Survivors include her parents, Pioquinto and Maria Ruiz, three sons, Joe Albert Bosquez, Michael Lee Bosquez, and Dionisio Bosquez, Jr., two daughters, Reyna G. Bosquez and Fatima D. Bosquez, three sisters, Rita Oliva, Janie Zermeno, and Alma Melendez, and four brothers, Pioquinto Ruiz, Jr., Rene Ruiz, Javier Ruiz, and Damian Ruiz. She was blessed with ten grandchildren and loved by her many nieces and nephews.
