Virginia Daugherty, 59, of Olton, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017, in Lubbock. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at the First Baptist Church in Olton with Brother David Azam officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 21, 2017.

Virginia was born July 19, 1957, in Lubbock, to J.Frank and Barbara (Cornelius) Daugherty. She graduated from Olton High School in 1975 and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Baylor Law School in 1981. Virginia owned and operated Daugherty & Associates Law Firm in Amarillo and was a talented artist.

She was preceded in death by her father, J.Frank Daugherty and a nephew, Shane Barnett.

Survivors include her mother, Barbara Daugherty of Olton, her daughter, Ellen Daugherty of Amarillo, a brother, Ted Daugherty and wife, Jennifer of Silverton, and her sister, Patricia Barnett and husband, Bart of Olton.
